A warm welcome from Liz was wonderful and gave us a good introduction to her beautiful home. We were living in the house and the barn and they provided an excellent comfortable base for a multi-generational family holiday.. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very well equipped in a most thoughtful way.. The wonderful Aga is perfect in the laRead morerge kitchen. The property feels very secluded but has easy access to many interesting places and the coast. We always looked forward to coming home after any day excursion and the grounds are exceptional;. enjoyed by us all and our dogs who could roam freely. The lakes are a real feature, well landscaped with the exciting boat house and we found them quite safe. We would recommend this property without hesitation. Hide

Whats not to love about HutchingHayes. I only wish there was a bit more documented history of this place as its so unique and beautiful. You can really feel yourself cast back in time and imagine how it must of felt living here centuries ago. We came with my elderly mother, children & grandchildren (13 in all) and the children loved the gardens andRead more the play room. My mother enjoyed the gardens. The scenery is stunning around the property and its so quiet and peaceful. Its a nature lovers dream escape with deer, pheasants, Jays, kingfishers, carp, golden orfs and to top it all off - Beavers! How magical to watch them working away at dusk and dawn on the middle lake. Take a chair and binoculars and a good strong torch and youll be amazed! Liz is wonderful and very responsive to any concerns. The house is so well equipped with every utensil or appliance you could need. We were able to organise a wonderful afternoon tea party with all of the serving dishes. Very strong showers in all of the bathrooms. Only 25 mins to all the beaches. Hide
