With comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a dining table strategically placed to enjoy the splendid views, this is a space you won’t want to leave. A separate, modern and well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar is to the rear and there is also a convenient ground-floor WC. Three attractive and comfortable bedrooms are on the first floor: an en-suite double with a Smart TV, an en-suite zip-and-link twin (which can be a super-king-size upon request) and a bunk room. The first two rooms have excellent sea views and the third is served by a separate family bathroom. There is a shared area to the rear with direct access onto National Trust land, plus a good-sized southwest-facing patio to the front enjoying superb sea views.
Not only is Woolacombe’s main beach less than a mile away, but you’ll also be proximal to Combegate Beach and the renowned Barricane Beach. The latter offers takeaway Sri Lankan curries in the summer; pick a spot on the sand, bring your favourite tipple and watch the sunset with a tasty dish in hand. During the day, pick up the South West Coast Path and walk to nearby Morte Point (1 mile). The harbour town of Ilfracombe (6.5 miles) offers fun during the day and night, with an aquarium, amusements and a plethora of eateries. If it’s shopping you want, head to the market town of Barnstaple (14.5 miles) where high street stores galore await.
