With breathtaking views over a picturesque coastal valley, this detached property enjoys a tranquil setting high above Lee Bay, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where up to twelve guests can enjoy a fabulous getaway.

With stylish contemporary decor throughout, the spacious living/dining room has full width patio doors opening onto an enormous, decked terrace - a real suntrap enjoying stunning views over the valley. This fabulous space is ideal for outdoor dining after a trip to the beach or walks along the rugged coastal path. The modern fitted kitchen is well equipped and has a further utility area which also leads onto the terrace. For younger guests, a generous games room offers much to choose from, including table football and Playstation 2 with games. With plenty of space for comfy leather sofas, TV/DVD and stereo, this room is a real bonus. All of the bedrooms are attractively presented. On the ground floor, one double and two twin bedrooms share the modern bathroom and additional separate WC. Upstairs, a lovely dual-aspect double bedroom has French doors opening onto a delightful roof terrace with views of the ocean, perfect for sunset cocktails. A further spacious double bedroom, which has an additional single bed to allow flexible sleeping arrangements, benefits from a modern en-suite shower room. The compact bunk room is suitable for small children and a separate shower room is also on this floor. Outside, the rear garden enjoys fabulous rural views.

The whole area is beautiful with the rock and sand cove of Lee Bay just a short downhill stroll where you can swim or rock pool to your heart’s content. A little further afield is the fabulous seaside resort of Woolacombe with its award-winning golden sands, plethora of water sports and great places to eat and drink. For walkers, you are spoiled for choice with the miles of South West Coast Path available where you’ll find dramatic cliff-top scenery.

Excellent property for our large family holiday. 6 adults and 5 children under 5. The property was spacious and well equipped, though the addition of some cooling fans during the very hot weather would have been appreciated.. The village was ideal, being able to walk to the beach, pub and beautiful little church and cafe/gift shop. The lanes were vRead moreery narrow but that just seemed to make the bay a little more exclusive. Quite a hill walking back to the property but I like hills for the lovely views, which was great from the terrace at the back. Thank you for a really lovely holiday. Hide

We had a lovely family holiday at Highview. Well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely views from the house, good location to visit this beautiful area and positioned right on the coast path. Walked to Ilfracombe and also in the other direction, to Woolacombe.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Games room was a bonus during some wet weather. The garden was safe and secure for both the children and the dogs. Steep hill down to the bay so not ideal for less mobile guests. Restricted parking at the beach due to construction work. Overall a beautiful, peaceful location.

Cottage was good and excellent location. Roads to and from cottage are extremely narrow and require lots of manoeuvring when meeting another vehicle

'The cottage was really lovely and very spacious. Ideal for my disabled husband to get around in his wheelchair, particularly with downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The gardens were large and the games room was a blessing for the children on wet days. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were extremely comfortable.
