The beautiful, rocky seaside cove of Combe Martin is just a few hundred metres from this delightful and contemporary semi-detached home, situated in an elevated position at the edge of the village in a quiet cul-de-sac. Within minutes of your arrival, you will want to stay forever in a place where you can explore the delights of the North Devon coast and countryside.
The property itself is over three levels with the entrance on the ground floor with the garage providing ample storage for bicycles and surfboards, as well as a ground-floor cloakroom. The light and bright living room enjoys sea views and also has a Juliet balcony, whilst the kitchen/dining room with beech work surfaces, stainless steel fittings and laminate floors has patio doors to the rear enclosed gravel courtyard. On the second floor you’ll find four attractively furnished bedrooms – two king-size rooms (one with an en-suite shower room and outstanding sea views), a single and a bunk bedroom. Serving the remaining three bedrooms is a separate family bathroom with white suite and whirlpool bath.
Combe Martin, on the edge of Exmoor National Park, is renowned for having the longest high street in the country, with a good selection of shops and pubs. It is an ideal centre for walking holidays and makes a perfect holiday destination for families. From here, why not travel 5 miles to the great harbour town of Ilfracombe where you’ll find stunning views and boat trips from the harbour, visit the museum or aquarium or photograph Damien Hirst’s landmark statue, Verity. For family days out, head 2 miles to the weirdly wonderful Watermouth Castle or the Wildlife & Dinosaur Park.
