This second-floor apartment is located by the picturesque River Lyn and offers breathtaking views from the balcony. Wake up and treat yourself to breakfast at one of the local cafes or restaurants for the perfect start to your holiday. Or, for an even more tranquil experience, follow the river upstream to the National Trust's Watersmeet House. With so much to see and do, a couples’ escape to Exmoor is sure to be a holiday to remember.

Sitting right on the edge of Lynmouth’s river and looking out across the bay and to the Welsh coast, the apartment’s open-plan living space has been comfortably furnished and equipped with all the essentials for a self-catering stay. Enjoy cosy film nights on the sofa in front of the TV or tuck into romantic home-cooked meals for two at the dining table. The master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room ensures a good night’s sleep and a fresh start each day. Step out onto the balcony with a morning coffee and admire the picturesque surroundings.

There are plenty of things to do in the local area. Take in the spectacular sights of the cliff railway, the highest and steepest water-powered railway in the world, travelling between the twin villages of Lynmouth and Lynton (200 metres). Stop by the Valley of the Rocks (2 miles), which boasts some of the highest cliffs in Great Britain, or explore the nearby Tarka Trail or South West Coast Path. Just over 20 miles away lies Ilfracombe, with its abundant eateries, shops and the thought-provoking Damien Hirst statue, 'Verity', perched atop the town's pier.

This place is excellent, has great location, in middle of Lynmouth, excellent views and even though on busy street, it is very quiet in evening. Close to literally everywhere, either food, or drink or gifts and excellent base for exploring. Cute inside, with everything one needs for comfortable stay. Great bed and bedding, very comfortable. Little Read moreGEM and i would definitely stay again. This was our 4th visit in Lynton/Lynmouth but this place beats them all. Hide

Fantastic location - amazing views and right in the heart of Lynmouth. 29 stairs to reach the apartment - wasnt an issue for us. You need a parking pass for peace of mind but available just round the corner 15 for 4 days or 25 for a week. Supermarket up in Lynton but nothing in Lynmouth. We saw Sainsburys and Tesco doing deliveries. Loved the clifRead moref railway and visiting Lynton. Valley of rocks and Watersmeet. So much to do. Hide

The flat was lovely and nicely situated and met my needs. I would recommend if there were better heating.

Could not fault the property, however would not recomend for elderly person due to the 2 flights of stairs (29) steps.
