Discover this beautiful holiday cottage in rural Devon. Situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac, you can enjoy the best of the countryside, with traditional pubs and village stores less than half a mile’s stroll away. The cottage itself has been designed in a contemporary style that offers comfortable accommodation for a family or group of friends. And you can enjoy the outdoors too, with an enclosed garden complete with a decking area – perfect for BBQs and al fresco get-togethers.

Follow the steps down to the front entrance and head into the spacious hallway of this welcoming cottage. The open-plan lounge/dining room with leather sofas and a cosy wood burner provides the ideal spot for a catch-up with loved ones. The kitchen and utility room are fully equipped, ensuring all home-from-home essentials are taken care of. Journey upstairs and find three attractive bedrooms with underfloor heating, including a king-size, twin and single, as well as a bright family bathroom. Step outside and enjoy the fully enclosed rear garden with a lawn, mature trees and shrubs. There is also a fabulous patio area with decking, perfect for al fresco dining and drinks. Fire up the BBQ and soak up the views of the Devon countryside.

The picturesque village of Georgeham is nestled in the rolling hills of North Devon, yet is just a stone's throw from some of the area's most popular beaches. Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe are just 1, 2, and 3.5 miles away respectively, and have become beloved spots for both family outings and surfing. Additionally, Saunton Sands and the Braunton Burrows UNESCO Biosphere - located 5 miles away - are also worth the visit. For a change of scenery, explore the historic pannier market at Barnstaple, the largest town in North Devon, or venture to Ilfracombe, the region's epicentre for gastronomy – both are within 9 miles.

Lovely little cottage - everything you need for a great stay. A little remote to find (sat nav took us up very narrow roads coming in - but the roads out to Croyde and beyond (the longer way) much easier for wider cars) Steep steps to property - front and out back, so perhaps not for anyone with walking issues, but the cottage is nicely laid out,Read more warm and cosy, and plenty of hot water. Lovely pubs with dining and nice village shop - all walking distance. Dogs loved the safe lawned garden - and were welcome in said pubs. Would definitely return at this time of year (late April) Hide

Excellent 5 days spent at Salar Cottage. Great location for walking our two Spaniels on the local beaches. Two great pubs in Georgeham that serve really good food. Cottage very clean with all the facilities you may require.

Our 3rd visit, very comfortable and well equipped, parking permit for the village hall is a bonus as is closer and easier parking than in front of garage. Garden is secure which was great for the dog. Very helpful and friendly next door. Shop has reopened which is a bonus. Highly recommend the Rock Inn great food and atmosphere.

This was a lovely cottage to stay in on our family holiday. It was comfortable and felt like a home away from home. A perfect hub for lots of walking in the local area and easy access to nearby beaches!

Was at property for two weeks. Was seriously considering asking for an exchange after first week for two reasons.I could not let my dog roam in garden in case the neighbours dog to the left was out,an absolute beast and because of banging from the property to the left late at night.Property and its situation is fine otherwise.
