This cottage is in a fabulous location if you are looking for peace and quiet. There are views of the sea between the hills from the front and walks on the moor just a few hundred yards behind. It is very comfortable, roomy and nicely furnished and has a pretty garden. We had a job to fault it, highly recommend it and hope to return.

The position of Keepers Cottage was for us its main recommendation, close to both the sea and moor. In fact Exmoor starts right behind the house which is lovely. Dark skies and solitude but easy access to the town. The Barbrook garage is brilliant for topping up on essentials and both Lynton and Lynmouth have interesting places to see and the waRead morelks from there are some of the best in the world, temperate rainforest too. We also visited the local cinema which was charming. Accommodation is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen has all the equipment needed to self cater. We would definitely recommend it for families and groups. Hide

We absolutely loved Keepers Cottage! I don't think we've stayed in such a well-equipped holiday kitchen before! The views from most of the windows are amazing, the location is totally private and peaceful and the cottage is very airy, comfortable and welcoming. The cottage was spotless on arrival, instructions are clear and the garden is delightfulRead more! Exmoor common is just a short walk further up the hill. You need a car to go anywhere else as the cottage is wonderfully remote! Wifi at the cottage is excellent. There is a petrol garage at the bottom of the lane which surprisingly stocks just about anything you may need! Lynton and Lynmouth are on your doorstep for cafes, restaurants and gift shops. The Valley of the Rocks was breath-taking as was the Heddons Mouth walk. We recommend both. We ate at home most evenings as the range cooker is great and very clean! We can't recommend Keepers Cottage enough! Hide

We had a lovely two weeks at this very spacious, comfortable cottage with amazing views and we didn't have to drive long distances to see a good variety of places. On a clear night we enjoyed the star-lit sky, Exmoor being a Dark Sky Reserve with almost no light pollution. Lynton and Lynmouth were an easy drive of about 5 minutes.
