This delightful holiday cottage is the perfect place for a memorable stay on the North Devon coast. Sleeping four guests, it is just 2.5 miles from the golden sands of Saunton Beach; a popular destination for swimmers and surfers, as well as families. After a day on the sand, very little will beat returning to this pretty property to enjoy the last of the sunshine in the flower-filled, enclosed garden, or putting your feet up in the chic interiors.

The stylish lounge is a bright and inviting space to relax in, with comfortable seating arranged around the TV. Watch your favourite film before heading into the kitchen/dining room to prepare a hearty home-cooked family meal. The two attractive bedrooms include a double with a door out to the garden, and a twin room with zip-and-link beds that can be made into a super-king-size on request. A modern bathroom completes the interior, with a shower over the bath and a WC. The front and rear gardens provide plenty of space to enjoy the summer weather, with a decked patio, lawns and abundant seating.

For those keen to explore, there are several attractions to discover nearby, such as the Grade I-listed medieval church of St Brannock, and Braunton Museum. Or you could take a ferry ride from Ilfracombe (7.5 miles) to see the puffins and possibly a pod of friendly dolphins following behind the boat. After a day of adventure, you can let someone else do the cooking in one of Braunton’s many welcoming restaurants.

Overall I found the cottage to be comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. The secluded garden is well maintained and is a sun trap in any good weather. The cottages position is good as a base, about half way between Barnstaple and Ilfracombe with good bus links allowing access to the towns and scenic walks in the area. I took my caRead morer but like the option of using public transport where possible during my stay. Hide

The ideal place to stay. Close to all amenities and just a short drive to the beach and places to visit. The accommodation was well equipped with everything you could need. We found the bungalow very comfortable and was great to have a garden for the dog to explore. Thank you for a great place.

During our stay, we found the overall cleanliness and condition of the property to be very poor. The cooker was extremely unclean and rusty, making it completely unsuitable for use. Similarly, many of the oven dishes provided were in an unhygienic state and could not be used for cooking. The vacuum cleaner emitted an unbearable and foul smell, mRead moreaking the whole cottage stinky. The condition of the bedding was also unacceptable. The single bed had mouldy sheets, while the quilts and the mattress in the back bedroom were heavily stained and unhygienic. This created an uncomfortable and unhealthy sleeping environment. In addition, the overall dcor was very dated and poorly maintained, which contributed to an unwelcoming atmosphere. The seating in the lounge was also uncomfortable, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the space. Given the poor hygiene standards and the lack of comfort, this property should not be rated as 3 stars. In our opinion, it is closer to a 2-star standard. Hide

The bungalow is small but well equipped and cosy. The kitchen and breakfast area is a lovely space. The location is excellent. The garden is smaller than on the advertised photographs as the photos are taken of the garden before the extension was built and took up part of it. A little misleading and much better for photographs to be accurate.

We absolutely loved staying here with our 2 children and dog. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and thoughtfully equipped with incredible beaches and countryside on the doorstep. All of the instructions and pointers to local places and restaurants were really helpful. We had such a brilliant week! Thankyou
