On a rainy day, you could visit the museum or art gallery (both within 0.5 miles). Take Fido for a run around in Exmoor National Park (4.5 miles) – where you’ll find woodland, rivers and moorland. The closest beach is Saunton Sands (20 miles), which is canine-friendly all year round and is excellent for swimming because of its soft sand and lifeguarded patrols.
