House was wonderful, well equipped, had everything we needed! Coffee pods were appreciated! The only drawback was parking, not really room for 2 family cars on the drive.

We have just returned from a week at Embleton! We travelled as a group with two toddlers. There was a welcome basket on arrival which was nice - this included tea/coffee for the coffee machine and some biscuits. We liked that the garden area was safe and enclosed. The location was great - perfect walking distance to the beach and Croyde village (a Read moreparticular fave for eating out was Blue Groove and The Beach Cafe Downend) The thing that let the property down for us was that it wasnt the cleanest! In fact we all said it was the most unclean holiday cottage we had stayed in.not sure if it just happened to be an off week as hadnt seen reviews of this nature but we shouldnt have needed to hoover on arrival and there were lots of spider webs, dust and some used tissues around the property. It was a bit of a shame but we still had a good week! Hide

Really loved our stay at Embleton. All the facilities we wanted were in the property and can't recommend it highly enough. We could see that a previous guest has suggested getting an air fryer and we were delighted to see that there was one there which was great for when the children wanted a quick meal. We'll certainly look at returning.

We had a great stay at Embleton, the house was perfect for multi-generational family to use with plenty of space and comfy beds. We thought the location was excellent (walking distance to beach, village, pubs) and very handy to have parking for a few cars. Would definitely recommend to others !
