Property code: OC-PINKBB

Crisp and bright interiors with a laid-back simplistic feel, a spacious cottage garden and sea views are what make this quirky pink bungalow perfect for a traditional seaside break. Despite being on one level, this property is just the right size for six human guests and one canine companion. Spend your time away exploring the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and visiting the nearby lively port town of Brixham.

Broadsands beach, a 2025 blue flag awarded beach, is a short walk away. The holiday bungalow is an ideal place to relax admiring the sea views, watching the steam trains go by or to venture further afield to Brixham, Dartmouth or the South Hams. An ideal location for those who admire long coastal walks, as the house is situated just a few hundred yards away from the South West Coastal Path.

Settle into this cosy and cheerful seaside home and soak up the views of Broadsands Beach while relaxing in the neutral-toned lounge with wide windows by the plump sofa and armchairs. Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with pale shaker-style cabinets and views of the garden. Gather around the dining table with your guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wake up to sea views from the king-size master bedroom. There is also a family bathroom, a shower room and three more bedrooms – one of which has separate access via the rear garden. Outside is a patio and sloped gardens with views of the sea and furniture.

Start your day with a swim in the sea at Elderberry Cove (0.5 miles) during your stay in Galmpton Warborough. Nearby, you’ll also find a cafe, a golf course and the Broadsands Reed Bed Nature Reserve (within 0.5 miles). Follow the South West Coast Path to Broadsands Beach (0.5 miles) or head in the other direction to reach Brixham (2.5 miles). Here, you can wander around the harbour, enjoy some shopping and stop for a bite to eat at a seafood restaurant. Fido will love sniffing around the Berry Head National Nature Reserve (3.5 miles), which offers nature trails, a working lighthouse and picturesque views of the coastline.

The bungalow was very comfortable and homely. The biscuits and wine were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The location is excellent for walking to the beach at Broadbands (5 mins) or through the woods to Elberry Cove or the coast path to walk to Brixham.

A lovely stay at the "Pink Cottage". If you are after somewhere homely, that works as a good base for exploring the area, it is perfect. Location and view is fabulous and great for a family with young kids wanting to make the most of the nearby beaches.
