Offering relaxing accommodation for six guests, this airy and cheerful reverse-level property makes a wonderful holiday home for families and friends seeking a tranquil Cornish retreat. A thoughtfully converted former granary, the cottage is set on a family-run organic dairy farm with breathtaking views. Surrounded by 267 acres of pastureland, the property is one of five onsite, and has access to a shared garden and play barn, with chances to take part in farm activities and the opportunity to hire a bespoke artist’s pop-up studio in a stunning coastal location.
The spacious lounge/diner is an ideal room to relax in, with a vaulted ceiling, exposed ceiling beams, a welcoming wood burner and plenty of seating, along with a TV and DVD so you can unwind with a favourite movie in the evening. The charming dining area is perfect for sharing a family meal which you can rustle up in the fully equipped kitchen reached via a couple of steps up. There are three tastefully decorated lower-ground-floor bedrooms: an en-suite double with sea glimpses, a twin, and a super-king-size room, both with views towards the sea. There’s also a stylish family bathroom. A private enclosed garden with a patio and BBQ can be reached via the shared garden with a children’s play area, and the fantastic play barn has slides, children’s play equipment and a trampoline. You can also watch the cows being milked by arrangement with the owner.
