Offering ample accommodation for four guests, this stylish detached holiday home is one of several properties set on a 267-acre dairy farm just a few miles from the North Cornwall coastline. Originally a farm workshop and log shed, this beautifully converted retreat features exposed ceiling beams and a welcoming wood burner, as well as access to a fantastic play barn. Dogs will also have their own field to exercise in, and you can also hire from the owner a bespoke pop-up art studio in a stunning location looking out to sea.
On entering this light and airy cottage, the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a wonderfully relaxing living area. With a warming wood burner, plenty of seating and TV/DVD, the lounge is an ideal space to unwind with a good book or a movie at the end of a great day. The central dining area is a lovely setting for a special family meal which you can rustle up in the fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there are two relaxing bedrooms, each with exposed ceiling beams in vaulted ceilings: a cheerful twin and a refreshing en-suite double. There’s also a stylish family bathroom. Outside, the private patio has a BBQ, and there’s also a range of activities for adults and children to enjoy in the play barn, including slides, scramble net and trampoline, or you can visit the farm and meet the animals.
Set within the Hartland Heritage Coast, the Marsland Valley Nature Reserve offers a mix of moorland, woodlands and coastline. With its beautiful sandy beaches, the flourishing seaside town of Bude is just a short drive away (9.5 miles), or you can head north to the historic village of Clovelly (12.5 miles). Also nearby are Welcombe Mouth Beach, Duckpool Bay, Sandymouth Bay Beach and Hartland Abbey (all within 11 miles).
