Surrounded by 15 acres of farmland and within a courtyard of nine cottages close to the golden sands at Westward Ho!, this welcoming barn conversion is perfect for families keen to explore the famous North Devon coast. The area is renowned for its relaxed pace of life, with pristine beaches, quaint villages, and unparalleled scenery - although, for the more adventurous, you’ll find plenty of exciting water sports to keep you entertained.
The two-storey cottage boasts views across the shared front lawn, set within the main courtyard. It’s spacious, with plenty of room for the kids to play in the day, and at night it transforms into a cosy haven where you can cuddle up on the comfortable seating surrounding the TV. To the rear of the property, you’ll find a BBQ area shared with the other cottages on the complex - the perfect spot for an al fresco dinner after a day exploring. Before you dine though, make use of the shared heated 40ft outdoor swimming pool (open during summer months). There is even play equipment, with swings and slides for the little ones to let off some steam, plus sheep, goats and Kunekune pigs on-site for you to visit.
This area of North Devon is famed for its Tarka Trail - 180 miles of walking and cycle paths which meander through some of the country’s best scenery, so pack your walking boots! The wonderful Exmoor National Park is also within easy reach (24.5 miles), making a great day out for outdoor types. Closer to your home-from-home though, are The BIG Sheep (1.5 miles) and The Milky Way (10 miles) family attractions which the kids are sure to enjoy.
