A 2-mile sandy beach is just 1.5 miles away, and you can also enjoy day trips to the historic town of Barnstaple (11 miles) and the fishing village of Clovelly (12 miles). The cottage has an open-plan layout that was designed with entertaining in mind. Guests also have access to a shared games room and an indoor plunge pool during the summer.
The former stable is arranged across one level and has a light and bright interior. Its open-plan layout makes it sociable, and you’ll have a choice of areas for both entertaining and relaxing. At the centre of the lounge/kitchen/diner is a striking wood burner, creating a cosy spot to unwind on the sofas and in the armchair. The kitchen area has everything you need to cater for the group, as well as a dining table to seat everyone. All three bedrooms have en-suite facilities and zip-and-link super-king-size beds. Outside, enjoy quality time together in your private courtyard, relaxing in the hot tub, stretching out on the sun loungers, or cooking up a feast on the BBQ.
Westward Ho! is a family favourite, with its sandy beach and plethora of traditional seaside attractions. However, it’s also easy to escape the crowds, on a gentle stroll around Northam Burrows or a long hike along the dramatic South West Coast Path. The ancient fishing village of Clovelly is a must for the itinerary. Clinging to the cliff, the picturesque collection of flower-strewn cottages leads down to an idyllic harbour, where you can enjoy a local ale or ice cream, whilst watching the colourful fishing boats bobbing on the water.
