Escape to the coast in this luxurious holiday home, just 1.5 miles from Westward Ho! The property sleeps eight guests and is perfect for large families and groups of friends. Spend your days relaxing on the beach, or enjoy day trips to Bideford (3.5 miles) or Appledore (3 miles). After an action-packed day, unwind in your private hot tub. Guests also have access to a shared games room and, in the summer months, an indoor plunge pool.

The single-storey cottage is decorated in neutral tones and its high ceilings and dual-aspect windows make it feel bright and spacious. At its heart is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a choice of comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a roaring wood burner. The sleek kitchen area has everything you need to whip up a tasty meal, and a large dining table to seat all eight guests. The four bedrooms offer flexible accommodation, with zip-and-link beds: they are made up as two twins and two super-king-size (if you require a different configuration, please specify on booking). Two of the bedrooms share a Jack and Jill en-suite, and the final two also have en-suite facilities. The private courtyard is a lovely place to relax, as the sun sets over the ocean. Sip a glass of bubbly in the hot tub or fire up the BBQ for a night of al fresco dining.

Westward Ho! has something for everyone, with amusement arcades, coastal walks, and a fantastic range of independent eateries. It’s also a great place for trying water sports, including surfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. The surrounding area is a haven for walkers, with the South West Coast Path passing through the town and the traffic-free Tarka Trail just 3.5 miles away. Nearby attractions include The Big Sheep (2 miles) and North Devon Wake Park (9.5 miles).

Fantastic accommodation, the photos do not give it the justice it deserves! Very very tastefully decorated and furnished! I personally LOVE the kitchen! Also very very clean, neat and tidy! This is a lovely cottage in a very nice location. You can't see the coastline, but there is a view of the sea. As somebody who is disabled I found most of the cottage was on one level and so easy to get around, but there are quite steep steps down to the garden, but they put a ramp in place for me so all good.
