This charming barn conversion in the stunning North Devon countryside is the ideal rural bolthole. Situated in the grounds of a farm along with two other properties, guests can immerse themselves in the unbridled tranquillity, marvel at the far-reaching views and appreciate being only 3 miles from the pretty village and beach of Instow with its sand dunes, sailing club, independent shops, pubs and cafes. Although relatively isolated, this property is still ideally situated to explore everything that North Devon has to offer.

Sympathetically converted and decorated, this property has plenty of traditional features such as exposed beams and stone walls. It feels warm and homely throughout, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. On the ground floor, you’ll find the spacious lounge, which is cosy and comfortable with a wood burner effect electric fire, and one of the bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a grand four-poster bed and is accessed via a staircase in the lounge, as is the shower room. Outside, guests can join in with some farm activities, which is perfect for families. There is also a shared garden with BBQ and furniture.

Only 3 miles away is Instow where you can cycle or walk the Tarka Trail, a disused railway line, to either the historic, market town of Bideford (3.5 miles) or the larger town of Barnstaple (7 miles). Why not stop off at Fremington Quay café (4 miles) for fabulous sandwiches and cakes. For miles of golden sand and clean surf, head to Westward Ho! (7 miles) and for award-winning family fun head to The BIG Sheep and/or The Milky Way both within 15 miles.

Lovely setting with open fields and spring lambs for company! The cottage/ accommodation is comfortable, and well furnished in a country style.
