Offering spectacular coast and countryside views, this spacious and comfortable property has a breezy, modern feel that perfectly suits its location high above Woolacombe. It has quality furnishings and a delightful garden, making it a fabulous destination for large families or groups of friends to enjoy walks from the front door, days at the beach or simply relaxing on the terrace.

From your private drive it’s 12 steps up to the front door. The sleek kitchen is a light-filled space equipped with a breakfast bar for four, while more formal meals can be taken in the adjacent dining area. The main lounge is set over two levels; on the lower level are two sofas and a Smart TV, while two steps up takes you to a work area and a sofa from which you can enjoy the gorgeous views. Alternatively, you can relax in the snug, where there are chairs and floor cushions, books, games and a Smart TV. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor: a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, a king-size and a single, the latter two rooms sharing a spacious shower room. A set of open-tread stairs leads to the first floor, where you’ll find a twin bedroom (super-king-size on request) with an en-suite shower room, and a large single bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. On this steep site the garden has various levels with dining and viewing areas, sun loungers and a lawn.

Woolacombe’s long, sandy beach is its main attraction, popular for kayaking, walking, swimming and kitesurfing as well as excellent surfing. The village itself has a lively atmosphere, with a choice of pubs and restaurants, while family attractions nearby include Ilfracombe Aquarium, 7 miles, Watermouth Castle, 9 miles, and Combe Martin Wildlife Park, 12 miles.

The charger is located on the driveway and is an untethered 7kW Easee charger with a Type 2 universal charging connector. Guests need to bring their own cable. Information on accessing the charger will be emailed to guests once they have paid the fee.

We were highly impressed with the overall offering a Bellacombe. Each room has been carefully thought about, both in terms of facilities and decor. The kitchen, especially, is very well equipped and we have difficulty in suggesting any essential that is missing (Perhaps a champagne cork remover :-)?). It was a joy to have the beach within walking dRead moreistance and to be able to stroll past the queuing traffic. Also access to the footpath network is great and the provision of a large-scale OS map an added bonus. This is one of the best holiday homes we have rented - possibly the very best. A joy! Hide

An elevated situation with beautiful sea views. Kitchen and utility room fully equipped with everything we needed and more Beds were spacious and comfortable. A very generous welcome pack, much appreciated. We would definitely recommend a stay at Bellacombe.

This house is something quite special, beautifully decorated and furnished, it has enough space indoors and outdoors that kids can play and you can escape to a quiet corner to read to book whilst looking out to Woolacombe Bay. The garden and house are private and not overlooked which is a real bonus. It is kitted out brilliantly - all kitchen mod Read morecons available, nespresso, toaster, microwave, dish washer; the washing machine and tumble dryer are in a separate utility room that has an extra sink, plus a hoover, broom, hairdryers, cleaning products. There's a lovely little courtyard with a washing line to hang out clothes - away from the rest of the garden. The garden spaces are brilliant enabling the kids to play in one area and adults to sit and chat in another area. The instructions in the welcome book and around the property were great, everything made very clear and easy. The view across the bay and rolling waves morning to night was food for the soul. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bellacombe and we will be back! Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at Bellacombe. We were a group of 2 families (1 family of 4 and 1 family of 3) and liked the way each family had a sleeping area with extra 2 bedrooms upstairs for the family of 3. The communal areas were well designed and sociable but with the option of a quieter lounge which was useful when one guest needed to do some wRead moreork. She appreciated the sea view whilst sat at the desk! It was great being able to walk down to Woolacombe beach and we enjoyed some fabulous days both staying local and going slightly further afield. A lovely week at this beautiful property. We were a party of 8, and Bellacombe suited us perfectly. It's obvious that alot of thought and care has gone into this home from home. It has everything you could possibly need & more! Highly recommended. It's a short walk from the house into Woolacombe & its beautiful beach. Be aware that it is a cliRead moremb back to the house. The road to the property is steep and narrow. One of our party had a camper can - they found it a challenge to negotiate the road and get parked up, but for a "normal" car it's fine! Hide
