A great place to stay, quality accommodation and spectacular views to the sea. Easy access to the coast path and well located for visits to North Devons attractions. The complex has been beautifully renovated and the efforts to re-wild the surrounding farmland should be highly commended. We will definitely book to stay here again.

Combes Barn is a detached barn conversion all on one level in an open plan layout. If you are looking for a rural peaceful holiday with a wonderful view then this is it. We loved watching the sunset every evening, whilst keeping an eye out for the resident wildlife. We saw hares, buzzards, kestrels, pheasants, deer and heard an owl. The pied wagtaiRead morel came to visit in the garden several times every day. We enjoyed the peaceful ambience very much. We found the bed very comfortable and the kitchen area had everything we needed. You can walk down to the coast path in 15minutes, the local beach is just pebbles but the walks in the area are quiet and enjoyable. We really enjoyed our stay apart from the access to the property which is down single track lanes with some bad potholes in places, not too bad until you meet something coming the other way and have to reverse back - which we frequently seemed to have to do! Got a bit frustrating in the end. Overall,we had a great holiday, the weather was perfect and we visited some lovely places, absolutely recommend Hartland Quay and the walk to the Speke's Mill Mouth waterfall, absolutely stunning landscape. Instow beach is great for a dog friendly runaround as is Crow Point. Hide
