Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom holiday home is one of several exclusive retreats set on a renowned, working dairy farm. Situated 5 miles from Exeter, 11 miles from the coast at scenic Dawlish Warren and 6.5 miles from the fringes of Dartmoor, it is certain to tick the boxes of all those accompanying you on your memorable escape to this glorious part of the world.

Make the most of your time away together as you unwind in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Play cards at the table or charades in the lounge area or just recline on the comfortable seating, listening to music via the Smart speaker or with your favourite programme on the Smart TV. This amazing space, with its high vaulted ceiling and beams, includes a stylish kitchen area, equipped with everything you are likely to need to help you cater for your party during your stay. One of your bedrooms, a king-size, with an en-suite shower room, is also downstairs, together with the family bathroom. Head upstairs to find the remaining two bedrooms, another king-size and a twin, both just as beautifully presented. The barn also features an enclosed private courtyard, where you can bask in the summer sunshine or open a bottle of wine under the stars. There is private parking for two cars here.

Visit Haldon Forest Park, 3.5 miles away, to hire cycles and wend your way along leafy trails. Discover Dartmoor’s many beauty spots, including spectacular Canonteign Falls, 8 miles away, where there are also lakes, gardens and playgrounds to enjoy. Keen walkers may well wish to head down to the coast. Here, they can lace up their hiking boots and stride out along the South West Coast Path.

We stayed in Cornmill. It was very comfy, clean and modern. Helen and Rob made us feel very welcome. All the staff we met were friendly. The ice cream parlour is an added bonus, especially in hot weather. The ice cream is delicious! Easy to get to a variety of places in South and East Devon.

The welcome was warm and friendly which continued all week with owners and staff. Our close friends and ourselves have stayed in many holiday properties over the last 30 years. I can recall a few worse than the Cornmill - I cannot recall a better one

We have finally found the perfect place for our 4 children! After living in Exeter for 11 years and now being back in Staffordshire we often visit Devon and struggle to find the perfect place well this is it! The accommodation, little touches for kids, the ice cream farm, animas and play barn is just perfect. The hosts are very responsive and so frRead moreiendly, we have booked again already! Would 100% recommend also very handy being close to Exeter and surrounding areas off the motorway. Hide

We enjoyed our stay at the Cornmill, it was a great place to stay with 2 families sharing a good sized clean and modern space. The children loved the ice cream parlour (the adults too). It was also an added bonus to use the indoor and outdoor play areas and visit the animals after the ice cream parlour had closed for the day.

My family had a wonderful stay. We booked two cottages and everything was as shown in the photos. We travelled with 5 children between two families aged between 6 months and 9 years. We got great use from the park and the courtyard, our children could freely roam between our two cottages. Location worked perfectly for exploring South DevonRead more.
