Head to the towns quay for fantastic kayaking, climbing and SUP activites, before enjoying a bite to eat in one of the many independent restaurants. Outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element at nearby Haldon Forest Park (2.5 miles), thanks to the multitude of waymarked walking tracks and mountain bike trails and famed Go Ape! for high wire adventures. For a fun, family day out, head to Crealy Theme Park (7.5 miles) to experience the rollercoasters and traditional fairground rides. The old port of Topsham sits on the Exe estuary and is a wonderful place to watch the world go by. Drop into Darts Farm on your way to pick up some local produce for supper. Teignmouth, Dawlish and Exmouth all offer sandy beaches within a 10 mile radius. Award winning Pennywell Farm ( 20 miles ) is packed full of animals, activities, farm rides, shows and displays. Further afield, explore the glorious English Riviera and the coastal towns of Torquay and Paignton (20 miles), or head inland to the wild and remote landscape of Dartmoor National Park (7 miles) for hiking, waterfalls and wild swimming.

The main living space is a delightful, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with an impressive vaulted ceiling and a tranquil colour palette to reflect the surrounding countryside. Spend time here after a day of adventure, cooking in the sleek kitchen area which has been carefully configured to include all of your self-catering essentials. Share family mealtimes around the elegant, wooden dining table, before retiring to the cosy lounge area to chat about your day or watch a film on the Smart TV. Also on the ground floor is a relaxing king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Completing the ground floor is a refreshing family bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find two further bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – both with calming, neutral decor and ample storage for all your holiday attire.
Outside, sip a sundowner in the charming, enclosed courtyard at the front of the property, which is equipped with an array of furniture for al fresco dining. There is also a lockable shed for you to store bikes, surfboards, luggage etc. There is private parking available on site for two cars.
