Westward Ho! boasts a 2-mile stretch of sandy beach with sand dunes and coastal grasslands within a few hundred metres of the property. Lie back on the sand or get involved in the action with a surf lesson. For something different, the pretty fishing village of Appledore or bustling market town of Bideford are both within 4 miles and offer numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. Kids will love The BIG Sheep - an all-weather theme park perfect for keeping the family entertained on rainy days.

We stayed in The Waterfront Apartment, fantastic views of the sea, very tastefully decorated, everything was there to make our stay comfortable, including a dishwasher, coffee machine and a great complimentary selection of coffee, hot chocolate, tea and biscuits which was a lovely touch! We would definitely return!
