This beautiful holiday cottage is set on a complex overlooking Westward Ho! Sleeping six guests, the property is ideal for friends and families looking for a relaxing coastal escape. A 2-mile sandy beach is just 1.5 miles away, and you can also enjoy day trips to the historic town of Barnstaple (11 miles) and the fishing village of Clovelly (12 miles). The cottage has an open-plan layout that was designed with entertaining in mind. Guests also have access to a shared games room.

The former stable is arranged across one level and has a light and bright interior. Its open-plan layout makes it sociable, and you’ll have a choice of areas for both entertaining and relaxing. At the centre of the lounge/kitchen/diner is a striking wood burner, creating a cosy spot to unwind on the sofas and in the armchair. The kitchen area has everything you need to cater for the group, as well as a dining table to seat everyone. All three bedrooms have en-suite facilities and zip-and-link super-king-size beds. Outside, enjoy quality time together in your private courtyard, relaxing in the hot tub, stretching out on the sun loungers, or cooking up a feast on the BBQ.

Westward Ho! is a family favourite, with its sandy beach and plethora of traditional seaside attractions. However, it’s also easy to escape the crowds, on a gentle stroll around Northam Burrows or a long hike along the dramatic South West Coast Path. The ancient fishing village of Clovelly is a must for the itinerary. Clinging to the cliff, the picturesque collection of flower-strewn cottages leads down to an idyllic harbour, where you can enjoy a local ale or ice cream, whilst watching the colourful fishing boats bobbing on the water.

We have just returned from a 4 night break with elderly parents, and have to say the property was outstanding, and as high a quality as you could hope for. The main living room is lovely and the bedrooms brilliant. A great size, with good and high quality en suites. The walk in shower was just perfect for the oldies ! A great position, very quieRead moret, and totally undisturbed, with a short walk down to the costal path. Your choice when you get there - turn right for a short stroll into Westwad Ho! or left for an amazing costal path walk with stunning views. The play barn is well equipped for those with children. Can highly recommend the property. Hide

A lovely quiet location with views across the valley to Bideford. A good base from which to explore.

Cottage is lovely and in a great setting. Plenty of space for six people and two dogs. Beds are really comfortable and spacious. The games room/plunge pool was great and kept our grandchildren occupied on a wet and windy afternoon. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

We were late in the season so the estate was very quiet which suited us very well, our party of three couples all agreed we are happy to return in the future.

This bungalow was very homely and confortable. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. A great spot if you enjoy walking. You have two goats for neighbours which are fun to watch. Our dog wasn't quite sure what to make of them but he isn't generally reactive so all okay. We loved it and are considering returning next year.

What a wonderful, spacious cottage,in beautiful, quiet, surroundings. It is furnished with quality fittings throughout, and the decor is spot on! Everything you could need was provided. The only negatives for us, was the size of the twin bedroom ( so much smaller than the other two. We were a family of 6 adults), and some of the small drawer units Read morewere rather shabby, compared to the quality of the rest of the cottage Two little jobs we requested, were done promptly and without any fuss!
