This studio-style holiday pod is the perfect place for a couple to reconnect and spend time with their canine companions. Close to the Cornwall/Devon border, its bespoke interiors are complemented by a garden and terrace with stunning coastal views.

One of three pods sharing an organic dairy farm location, this romantic couple’s retreat offers an idyllic antidote to the everyday. Step inside and you’ll find a everything you need for an effortless stay, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping area creating every opportunity for you to enjoy down-time together. Cook up a treat with freshly-bought local ingredients, snuggle up in front of the Smart TV or light the wood burner and gaze out to sea – you’ll never tire of the view from the fully-glazed doors and windows here. When it’s time to sleep an inviting king-size bed awaits; at the opposite end of the property the ultra-chic shower room will get your day off to a refreshing start. Doors from both the bedroom and kitchen areas lead onto a private terrace where there’s home-grown oak furniture, a BBQ and firepit. The fully enclosed lawn area will add peace of mind if you’re holidaying with four-pawed pals – up to three can be accommodated here – and a gate gives access to a further 5 acres of organic grassland. This property's eco credentials include solar power and a biomass boiler. To keep the property as energy efficient as possible it feature triple glazing and extra insulation in the walls. The owners are passionate about the environment, which can be seen in their wildlife friendly garden with wildflowers, which uses no pesticide or fertiliser, and furnishing the property with upcycled furniture.

The parish of Morwenstow is on the doorstep – take a stroll and you’ll find tea rooms, a 13th-century inn and a historic church. The eccentric 1800s parson and poet Robert Stephen Hawker made his home here for over three decades; on the nearby cliff edge he famously built a refuge – Hawkers Hut – which is now the smallest National Trust building to be visited in England. To the north and straddling the Devon-Cornwall border, the Marsland valley is a magical mix of woodland, coastline and butterfly-filled meadows. If you’d like to explore further afield, Bude is 9 miles south – one of North Cornwall’s premier coastal towns, it offers spotless beaches and excellent eateries.

Couldn't fault the amazing location and views. Our dogs loved the safe, enclosed garden. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. The property had everything we needed. A lovely, relaxing stay.

This was an excellent choice for a holiday destination and would be hard to beat. The setting was superb; the accommodation was clean, well equipped, modern and tastefully presented. The extras eg log stove, garden, firepit and even the size of the tv, made it even more special. I can only say thank you for facilitating a great holiday.

Lots of positives to the Horizon module and its location. The photos do really illustrate the venue, it is lovely, patio deck superb. The module is very well equipped for all your cooking (etc) needs. Shower area is superb. Bed is firm but comfortable. We found the sofa very uncomfortable but that may be due to age! Very little storage (3 coat pRead moreegs on door) in this type of unit so clothes were on the floor for a week. We did feel that pre visit checks could be reviewed we found an issue which had be reported in a previous review (one radiator not working - however one was really ample, we felt no need to lit the lovely stove as it would have been too hot. The shower was still super despite the feed pipe to the small shower head being ruptured (we reported this). We feel a couple of chairs on the deck would be better than the wooden bench, there is one of those already in the garden. Don't think they would spoil the look of the place. Hide

With amazing views of countryside, the sea and Lundy The Views deserve their name. The pod was so comfortable and the kitchen was great with everything I needed. The bathroom was wonderful a lovely big sink and large walk in shower. It really helped me relax after walking the coastal path, which was so close.

Great location and the small fenced garden was perfect for a stay with the dog. The log fire is great for cooler nights (and super cozy). The Bush Inn and the Rectory for a cream tea are a must.

We have just come home after a weeks stay here. The location with its views was amazing and it was super! The Pod was well equipped and with its enclosed garden was great for us and our 2 dogs. We used the large field directly off the enclosed garden a couple of times (just watch out for the cowpats!) The log burner was a welcome addition as the evRead moreenings were a little chilly although there are radiators in the Pod this was much more cosy! Perfect for rest and relaxation! Hide
