North Devon's coastline is within easy reach, offering beautiful sandy beaches, scenic coastal walks and some of the region's best surfing spots, while Exmoor National Park provides excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and wildlife watching.
An open-plan living space creates a comfortable setting for relaxing countryside stays, with double glazing and central heating ensuring year-round comfort. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, while Wi-Fi is available throughout the estate and electricity is included. The accommodation features one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both prepared with bed linen, duvets and towels, with beds made up ready for arrival. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower over the bath and WC, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. During the breeding season, blue tits often nest opposite the lodge, while a variety of visiting water birds can be seen throughout the year. An electric BBQ provides the opportunity for outdoor dining while taking in the lake and woodland views. A washing machine is housed in an adjacent shed, and a shared metered tumble dryer is available on site. Guests can enjoy woodland walks throughout the estate as well as shared access to the carp and coarse fishing lake. One allocated woodland parking space is provided, completing this peaceful lakeside base for up to four guests and two dogs.
