Discover the beauty of the East Devon coast when you stay at this apartment for adults only in the pretty seaside village of Beer. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom holiday property sits on the first floor of a characterful, period building, close to independent shops, restaurants and galleries. It is also just 350 metres from the cliff-backed beach and the South West Coast Path.

Open the front door to find yourselves in an entrance hall with stairs leading up to the first floor. Here you will discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with sizeable windows that keep the space airy and light, and ample space for everyone to enjoy some quiet time. There is a comfortable seating area, where you can read, chat and watch TV, and a well-equipped kitchen for whipping up tasty meals with the local produce you have bought. Pull the stool up to the breakfast bar to drink your coffee and chat to the chef then dine at the table later. The bedrooms here include a king-size room and a single, with additional, pull-out truckle bed with legs that drop down to make it a full height single. There is also a family shower room. There is no outside space but public gardens and the beach are 130 metres away. Parking is in the pay public car park, subject to availability.

Enjoy long walks along the South West Coast Path. Try the 2-mile stretch to the beach at Branscombe or the 1-mile walk to Seaton. Head off for inland hikes in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or venture as far as the Blackdown Hills, 11.5 miles away. Visit Seaton, 1.5 miles away, to explore its shops and choose from an array of eateries. There is also a beach here where you can enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding. Book a sea cruise from Axmouth Harbour, 2.5 miles away.
