This property is a superb luxury apartment in the Counting House, a stunning new conversion from a 1870s Victorian townhouse situated right in the heart of the popular seaside town of Seaton. You’ll be mere metres from the seafront esplanade and the mile-long beach. The pretty harbour is an easy 0.5-mile level walk.

Access to the apartment is from the front of the building. Enter The Counting House into the shared hall with its intercom system. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find the door to the apartment, which is completely renovated, refurbished and attractively furnished to a superb standard with quality fixtures and fittings. Many period features remain including decorative fireplaces. There is oak flooring throughout with the exception of the luxury carpeted bedrooms. Enter the hall before getting to the lounge with its TV and bay window seat offering distant views of the sea and cliffs. This open-plan space boasts a dining table for four and a well-fitted and well-equipped kitchen. There’s a large king-size room and then a light and bright twin, both with soothing coastal-coloured décor. Both rooms shared the luxury shower room with its rainfall shower head and WC.

This beautiful apartment is situated in the square with local shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and two supermarkets all close by. You’ll be under 100 metres from the beach and the seafront with its esplanade. The pretty harbour is an easy 0.5-mile level walk away and the golf course is a little further. It’s just a short walk to the South West Coast Path; in one direction, you can reach the picturesque fishing village of Beer (2 miles), or Branscombe (5 miles) and the opposite direction to Lyme Regis (8 miles) with its famous harbour wall known as the Cobb and an excellent selection of specialist shops. A little further on is Charmouth (11.5 miles) with the Heritage Coast Centre offering fossil hunting walks, rockpool rambles and special marine events.

We had an enjoyable stay at Sterling, the apartment was both comfortable and clean. Being in the centre of town we were not only close to the shops and supermarkets but also just a few steps from the sea front.

Excellent location with parking permit. Close to all amenities & a very short stroll to the beach/esplanade. Lounge/diner/kitchen area large enough to cater for 4 persons easily. Would stay again.

We had a lovely time in Seaton. The property was perfectly located for us, for easy trips out into the town. Took our daughter out for day trips to Beer, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis - she loved the Donkey Sanctuary and Pecorama!

Very clean properly, good location for walks and towns near by, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Beer. Resturant offer excellent food.

The apartment is very nice and well equipped. Has everything you could need. The beds are very comfy and the shower is excellent. Perfectly positioned to explore the surrounding areas. Would recommend and will be back.

Could do with more and bigger tumbler glasses. Knives could be sharper, only 1 any good for cutting. Small issues though, generally great place to stay

The Sterling was exactly what it says on the tin. It was very clean and tidy, with all the equipment that you would require for your needs whether it was a short break or a fortnight. The location was excellent, although if I was to be critical parking was to far away if you were unable to walk too far but the bonus of a parking permit in a couple Read moreof nearby car parks was very useful and cost saving.
