Bramble Cottage is a spacious barn conversion cottage amid spectacular Exmoor countryside. Just 2 miles from the dramatic Exmoor coastline and the picturesque twin villages of Lynton & Lynmouth with their wonderful selection of individual shops, cafes, restaurants, picturesque harbour and rock and shingle beach at Lynmouth offering stunning views of the high cliffs tumbling down to the sea. Bramble is located on a quiet country lane and only half a mile from the small hamlet of Barbrook with its local stores.  The cottage is a great base for those wishing to explore the splendour of Exmoor by foot, on horseback or in the car at any time of the year. One of only two cottages within the grounds of the owners own home the property is ideal for couples or a small family. On the ground level there is a spacious and very comfortable living room with vaulted ceiling, feature beams and 3 internal steps up into a well equipped kitchen/diner.  Two attractive bedrooms are on the lower ground level, a Double with ensuite facilities and a Twin room . A family bathroom is also on this level. At the front of the property you have your own patio and an enclosed  garden overlooking a small meadow which is a great place to relax and enjoy outdoor dining.  Walkers will love to trek up the lane for around half a mile and arrive at open moorland. For those who would like to see the moor on horseback there are stables closeby.  Many famous beauty spots are either within an exhilarating walk or short drive away including The Valley of the Rocks with its herd of wild goats, the picturesque confluence of rivers at the National Trust's Watersmeet and the unique water powered cliff railway that joins Lynton and Lynmouth is an experience not to be missed.  Further afield, family attractions such as the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle are just 25 minutes in the car and the sandy surfing beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde are within a 40 minute drive.

Accommodation: Ground Floor. Living room with 42”  Freeview TV, BluRay DVD player and Bluetooth speaker.  Kitchen/dining area with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Lower ground floor: Bedroom 1 with Double and ensuite Shower room with WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with Twin.  Bathroom with bath, WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Cot, Highchair and stairgate provided.  Gas radiator central heating on upper floors and electric underfloor heating on lower floors . 2 pets welcome. Wi- Fi Broadband. No smoking. Patio furniture. Enclosed garden area. Off road parking for 1 car (please enquire if you are bringing more than 1 car). Short breaks available.  Arrival time is 3pm. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Friday. (NB will be a Saturday changeover for 2020).
