Step into this idyllic Devon holiday cottage, nestled in the heart of the majestic Exmoor National Park. Inside the lodge-style property, you’ll find a warm, welcoming interior of wooden panelling, thoughtfully laid-out rooms, and a cosy country feel. With the beautiful Lynmouth Beach just a mile away, you’re perfectly placed for coastal walks, dolphin watching and the famous funicular railway.

Head inside via French doors, and you'll find an open-plan living space with skylights that fill the area with natural light. The kitchen features a mini breakfast bar and a dining table, while the lounge includes comfy sofas surrounding a coal-effect electric fire and a TV/DVD for cosy nights in. There are also two inviting bedrooms on the ground floor - one double and one twin - as well as a shower room for all your needs. When the weather's warm, you can take advantage of the outdoor veranda and picnic bench for drinks or dinner alfresco. You can even fish for trout directly from the property's outdoor space, down a set of steps.

The quaint and charming hamlet of Lynbridge is the perfect spot for a getaway. Located just 1 mile from the coastal village of Lynmouth, this little gem of a locale is home to a stunning shingle beach that’s popular with surfers. Follow the coastal path, and you may be lucky enough to spot dolphins playing in the waters. Take a trip on the funicular railway to explore Lynton, a neighbouring village just 1 mile away. If you’re looking for a bit of adventure, venture 2 miles to the Valley of the Rocks where you can also spot wild goats.

Great lodge in a beautiful location. Everything is accessible without using the car as long as you dont mind hills. Lynton and Lynmouth can all be walked to for cafes pubs and shops. And for walking there are many walks starting from the property. Great place for a dog holiday.

Fantastic location in a peaceful gorge, trout-filled river flowing beneath the balcony, very quiet site, local area great for food and days out. River Lodge had everything we needed as a family with a dog.

Excellent location for local places of interest. Most importantly, Lodge and Site were very dog friendly, specific area for dog walking running alongside the River. Very relaxing and tranquil area where the Lodge is situated. Inside, the Lodge has simple decor and is clean with all useful facilities to make the stay comfortable.
