The Stables is a quiet and tranquil hidden gem in the heart of Braunton. This lovingly renovated and beautifully presented cottage is tucked away in the historic quarter of this vibrant village close to the stunning North Devon coast. There are great local facilities including a choice of shops, restaurants and pubs within just a few minutes walk, whilst the spectacular beaches of the golden coast including Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough are within a short drive. This popular village is surrounded by lush green countryside and offers wonderful walks and miles of cycle track(cycle hire available locally) along the Tarka Trail that runs through the village, around the Taw Estuary and beyond.  The cottage has its own private off road parking ideal if you wish to leave the car behind as Braunton has a good bus service.  At the front of the property there is a fully enclosed courtyard with raised decking and facilities to enjoy outdoor relaxation and dining.  On the ground floor a cosy yet spacious lounge/diner provides a variety of comfortable seating and a dining suite. Double glazed doors look out over the courtyard whilst underfloor heating and a woodburner provides warmth in the cooler seasons - perfect for warming up after a brisk winter walk! Adjacent is a well designed, high quality kitchen providing all you need to dine in with family or friends.  A spacious family bathroom is also on this level. On the first floor two stylish bedrooms are bright and attractive and offer flexible sleeping. One bedroom has a superking size bed that can be converted to two twin beds on request and the other bedroom has twin zip and link beds that can be converted to a superking on request.

The Stables is convenient for both coast and country and whether you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday, active pursuits including surfing, walking and cycling or would like to explore the splendour of The Exmoor National Park this delightful property is in an ideal location to enjoy it all.

Dining table and woodburner in feature fireplace. Kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin.  First floor: Bedroom 1 with Superking that can be converted to twin beds on request, Bedroom 2 with Twin zip and link beds that can be converted to a Superking on request.Hairdryers in each bedroom.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Underfloor heating throughout. Complimentary basket of logs.  Stairgate . Wi-Fi. No smoking. One well behaved pet welcome. Garden furniture, BBQ, Cycle/ Surfboard secure anchor point and Wet suit hanging rail. Outside hose and shower for pets/ wet suits etc Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.  NO SHORT BREAKS IN PEAK SEASON
