Description

This beautifully presented grade II listed cottage is situated in an enviable position right in the centre of the village of Croyde and just a stone’s throw from the Thatch Inn pub and restaurant.

The property’s entrance is through the front courtyard which is paved and is in a sunny area perfect for alfresco dining. Once inside this character property you immediately feel as if you have come home. The open plan living/dining room boasts a newly fitted Charnwood stove ideal for those chilly evenings. The exposed stonework and original beams add to the charm of the property. The kitchen is accessed through the Living room and is bright and modern with a range of wall and base units with wooden worktop over and integrated electric oven and hob. In the floor uner the sink area is the original well with a glass viewing panel over which creates an interesting feature.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with king (zip and link so can be two singles on request) and the second bedroom has a double and an additional raised single bunk bed built in over the stairs, only suitable for children. The bathroom has a bath with wall mounted shower above.

Outside there is a further cobbled courtyard with useful storage shed which has double doors and is perfect for storing surfboards and bikes etc.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Open plan living/kitchen/dining area with TV with Freeview and Charnwood log burner. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and washer/dryer. First floor: Bedroom 1 with King (zip and link bed) Bedroom 2 with Double with limited access on one side, plus 2ft 6” single high bunk suitable for children. Bathroom with bath with shower over bath, WC and handbasin.
