Enjoy a memorable escape in this welcoming first-floor apartment, set within the east wing of an early 1800s gentleman’s residence. When you’re not lounging on golden sands 1 mile away, or dining in a friendly local pub 150 metres away, you can be soaking up the far-reaching sea views from the balcony. Couples and small families are sure to be wowed from the second they arrive at this elegant retreat in Lynton.

A small side room provides peaceful privacy, and an additional lounge, down some steps, offers a versatile day bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. When day turns to night, there are two gorgeous bedrooms to choose from, a twin with zip-and-link beds that can be converted into a king-size on request, and a master with a beautiful carved wooden king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a balcony offering magnificent sea views. A separate shower room completes the home-from-home convenience. Unwind in the private pebbled patio to the side of the building, or enjoy a morning drink or evening nightcap on the balcony off the master bedroom.

Enjoy stunning views of the Exmoor National Park coastline as you take a ride on Lynton’s water-powered cliff railway (1 mile), or explore on foot with the Tarka Trail and South West Coast Path running through the local area. Visit Watersmeet House (2.5 miles), or head to the Valley of the Rocks (1 mile) for some of the highest cliffs in Britain. Woolacombe Beach (21 miles) offers a vast stretch of golden sands, and Ilfracombe with its galleries, shops and eateries, is less than 20 miles away.

Another great stay for us. The recent upgrades to the ensuite and lounge are very nice. This property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is in a great location with easy walking to the Lynton shops and out onto the Coast Path down to Lynmouth or out to the Valley of Rocks and Lee Abbey. Highly recommended.

Excellent location and amazing views. The main living area was lovely and the kitchen very well equipped. Bed was comfortable. However the main bathroom smelled very musty and the ceiling above the shower was mouldy so we only used the en-suite bathroom.

As Iv already said the apartment was tired and needs updating and the soft furnishings need burning! Its a shame because the location is simply stunning

The cottage was really nice: the beds were very comfortable; the rooms spacious; the kitchen well equipped and the property scenic, The entrance and particularly the exit is on a steep gradient which can be challenging. The Valley of the Rocks is close enough to walk to from the property and is well worth a visit.

This apartment is as advertised. The views are amazing and it has all the equipment you need. A new modern kitchen, with plenty of storage lots of worktop space, and everything you need. It is on a hill and quite a steep short hill to walk up to the town. Lynton is built on a hill, a lovely place to visit with lots of independent shops and eatingRead more places. The apartment is clean, spacious and in a great location. Best used in warmer months as the heating system is a Hive system which is held elsewhere.

Very comfortable apartment with good facilities. This is a great location, with easy walking into Lynton, a steep walk down to Lynmouth (or you can take the Cliff Railway!). We had lovely walks from the property on the Coast Path and further inland such as Lynmouth to Watersmeet and Watersmeet to Rockford.
