Sanfield House is a lovely family property with large garden, wonderful views and easy access to glorious sandy, surfing beaches. The villages of Braunton and Croyde are just a few minutes away by car and have a choice of shops, cafes and family friendly pubs. Two championship golf courses at Saunton are also close by.

Accessed by a private gate, the magnificent views from this property give the wow factor as soon as you pull into the drive.  Sweeping away from the house the surprisingly large grassed area is dotted with trees and surrounded by low hedges giving uninterrupted views reaching across to Barnstaple, the Torridge estuary, Braunton Burrows and the sea beyond. The garden extends further through an arched gateway creating a wonderful play area or just somewhere to sit quietly and relax. A gravel driveway leads to the house with entrance porch opening into a carpeted hallway. To the left is the kitchen with wood flooring, dual aspect views.  Containing plenty of storage space and ample equipment, there is also a breakfast bar with stools for informal meals.  A convenient serving hatch opens into the dining area adjacent.  The living room is a good size with dining area and delightful views.  Comfortable seating, a stone fire surround with electric fire, selection of books and games and TV with DVD and video provide a cosy room in which to relax. There is even a desk for writing those all important holiday postcards. Leading off the hallway is a convenient utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and airing facilities. Part of this room also includes a walk-in electric shower unit. There is also a handy separate cloakroom/WC on the ground floor. A further integral door leads into the garage which contains a pool table and plenty of storage space for bikes and surf boards.

All three bedrooms are on the first floor. Bedroom one has a king bed, handy corner sink and amazing dual aspect views over the garden, across the fields and the sea beyond. These same views can be enjoyed from the twin bedded room. The third bedroom has bunks which are suitable for children only.  All three rooms share the family bathroom which has a shower over the bath, heated towel rail and views towards the sea.

Displayed throughout the property are interesting local maps, pictures and photos.  This is an idea property for families or friends with great outdoor space and fantastic views to enjoy from sunrise to sunset.

We love Sanfield House and have stayed here twice - if we could, I think we'd move in! The grounds and views are spectacular and we love that we can walk to Braunton for a pasty and Croyde for a paddle. We hope to return many times.

Mrs L,

A well equipped and fairly modern house in a very quiet location with a large garden and lovely views.

Mr De R,

If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet Sanfield House is ideal. Set in generous gardens and a peaceful hamlet, the only noise you'll hear are the birds and sheep in the adjacent field. The property is well equipped and has the advantage of a downstairs shower - which you can access via the garage, which is very handy if returning from the beach with sandy youngsters! It's proximity to Braunton and Saunton mean it's very well located for shops and the beach. In fact it's the perfect location of this property that led us to book our second visit whilst enjoying our first holiday there!

Miss P,
