Beach Snug is an ideal holiday base for Surfers as it has the advantage of a garage for storage and is in walking distance to the beach. i liked the covered area for parking the car and the property being close to all the Pub's and Eateries. The Beach Snug was ideal for me and my dog, and although there are 12 steep steps to the entrance of the apaRead morertment, I had no trouble as there is a good handrail and I'm almost 90. I recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy the beach and the town without using the car. Hide

Property was clean and it had most things you would need For your stay Beds pillows werd nice and comfortable only one gripe it is advertised as dog friendly but when you get there dogs not allowed on any soft furnishings and you are not allowed to leave your dog on its own there which limits where you can go

Wonderful location, super close to the beach and all shops, pubs etc. Lovely views through the window, you can even see the beach and sea for morning wave updates. The parking is somewhat tight, especially if more inconsiderate people park in the turning area, and at one point we were unable to get our car out of the carpark because of this. We loved our stay at the beach snug. The location was great for the beach and pubs and restaurants. The place was larger than we thought- bit enough for 2 adults , a tall teenager and a big dog! We would definitely return.

Ideally placed for beach and eateries with parking. There are a flight of steps to door, but there is a strong handrail also a garage to safely store Surfboards etc. I was well pleased.

I arrived two days before Christmas, later in evening, and found there was next to no toilet paper, small amount of washing-up liquid and no heat. The storage heaters worked on overnight cheaper electricity. The controls to the storage heater in the living room didnt work properly and it required donning a blanket in the apartment for the first Read moretwo days. Not having a quick source of room heating in the middle of winter is a mistake. The light chord to the small bathroom came off in my hand on the first pull and the washing machine was permanently on and could not be stopped. Isolating meant the fridge went off too. The parking space is ridiculously small and the apartment itself is OK but also small. For close to 1k for the week it did not compare well to other places I have stayed at. Hide

We've just returned from a week at the beach snug - the property was great, it was very clean and the location was amazing. We could pop back from the beach whenever we needed and just minutes into town. The only downsides would be that the parking is tight (very large vehicles may struggle) and there can be a lot of sound from neighbouring apartRead morements. Also drying space is limited - shared rotary driers outside. If you all have wetsuits, swimwear & towels it can be hard to find somewhere for everything. These things can't be changed and shouldn't put anyone off, just something to be aware of. Hide
