Bickleigh is bordered by the A396, the main route between Tiverton and the city of Exeter. The area is rich in cultural heritage, with Bickleigh home to attractions that suit all ages, including Devon Railway Centre, Bickleigh Mill Shopping Centre and the astonishing Bickleigh Castle, which dates back to 600AD. Tiverton, which was once a terminus of the Grand Western Canal, is a pretty town with numerous footpaths and cycling trails branching from its vibrant town centre. It is populated with parks, pubs and restaurants that are perfect for quality family time. Exeter lies 10 miles from Bickleigh and offers an array of astonishing attractions including Exeter Cathedral, The Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, and Exeter Quayside.
