There are some fantastic local attractions within easy reach, including Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (both within 15 miles). In the evening, dine alfresco on the benches outside the property, as the sun sets over the sea.
The ground-floor apartment is decorated in a contemporary style and is set overlooking Croyde Bay. There is a handy hallway to store your outdoor gear, leading into the bright lounge/diner. This is a relaxing space to sit with a cup of coffee or unwind on the sofas to watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV. When day turns to night, enjoy a glass of wine on the benches outside the property, before retreating to one of the beautiful bedrooms. The South West Coast Path passes through Croyde, enticing you to explore the clifftop trails branching away from the village. One such path leads to the village of Braunton (9.5 miles), where you’ll find some wonderful independent boutiques and cafes. The route takes you past a spectacular panorama of Saunton Sands, as well as through the heart of Braunton Burrows, with its plethora of rare plants and wildlife. The coastal town of Ilfracombe (9.5 miles) makes a delightful day out. Grab an ice cream and wander amongst its pastel-coloured Victorian houses, or around the historic harbour to admire Damien Hirst’s magnificent Verity statue. You can also take boat trips from the harbour to Lundy Island.
