Step into the gorgeous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is packed with character and a fabulous space for the whole family to gather together for an evening and with every detail considered; there’s even a cosy spot for the dogs. You’ll find the spacious kitchen has everything required to comfortably cater for your stay and with a dining table as well as breakfast bar, it is a social space that ensures maximum time spent relaxing together as a family. Upstairs there is an attractive twin room with vaulted ceiling and exposed stone walls and the master bedroom - a double - also boasts an en-suite shower room. Completing the floor plan is a family bathroom. Back downstairs, step through patio doors in the lounge and you’ll find yourselves in the pretty enclosed garden with willow fencing, patio furniture and a fantastic private hot tub for relaxing evenings under the stars.

With a number of picturesque villages dotted around the immediate area, explore the picture postcard scenery the area is known for. Launceston itself is a bustling market town offering a range of high street and independent shops, as well as great places to eat. Or if you’d like to spend a day on the beach, the lively resort town of Bude can be reached within 20 miles and boasts an array of seaside attractions. Visit Roadford Lake just 6.5 miles away for a day packed with water-based activities that all the family can experience and enjoy.

Lynsey and Darren do a great job with these cottages, very clean and well maintained, and the hot tub was cleaned and topped up throughout the week by Darren. They are super friendly owners and the welcome pack of milk and fresh scones were so good, we bought more off them later. Great spaces to walk the dogs in the morning both enclosed and not. We had a lovely week here, great for the dogs with the enclosed front and rear gardens. Hot tub was lovely to come back to after a day out exploring. We loved our stay seeing the sun rise across the field from our front door and window was exceptional. The hot tub was fantastic well kept by owners. We all felt so relaxed and regenerated from our stay. Only down point is that our dog was not allowed upstairs in bedrooms, we can understand why the owners ask this but had we of known before bookingRead more we would not of booked as she has been brought up sleeping upstairs with the family. Lyndsey and Darren were extremely obliging as nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for the loan of the fishing rod Darren. We had a few nice sized carp 7-10 pounds and they looked very healthy too. The hot tub was a lovely extra after a day's sightseeing. We were able to park our car right outside the property. We have just spent a week at Badger Farm Lakes, the property is very comfortable, well equipped, and spacious. The added bonus was the outside seating area, and a hot tub. All of which are very well maintained. Darren and Lyndsey are very good hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
