Set within the beautiful Blackdown Hills, and overlooking the sweeping Otter Valley, this welcoming single-storey cottage is wonderful for couples, families or small groups of friends. Just 1.5 miles from Upottery, it’s perfectly placed for making the most of the peaceful countryside while remaining within easy reach of local towns and attractions.

On arrival, head up the short entrance ramp to a well-planned, single-level interior with underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen is to the right of the entrance and has everything you need for preparing quick breakfasts and relaxed evening meals. Towards the rear, the open-plan living area really shows off the far-reaching views, with glass doors that you can open up on sunny days. Unwind with a book on the comfortable seating, or settle down to watch something on the Smart TV. There’s also a dining table with plenty of space for meals and board games. Head to Seaton (15 miles) or the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis (18.5 miles), where you can also join the scenic South West Coast Path, opening up classic Jurassic Coast views and fossil hunting opportunities.
