Set within the rolling landscapes of the Blackdown Hills, this charming cottage offers a tranquil escape for couples and small families. Opportunities abound to enjoy walks from the door, days at the seaside or vibrant market towns, before returning to your comfortable getaway with spectacular views.

Designed to make the most of its stunning setting, the single-storey cottage features bright interiors with underfloor heating and comfortable furnishings. The compact kitchen provides everything needed for preparing meals, including a microwave and a dishwasher, and leads into a lounge/diner where you can enjoy gorgeous views through the French doors. Soft seating and a TV make this a welcoming space in which to snuggle up for an evening of relaxed entertainment. The tranquil bedrooms share a sleek family shower room. On warm days head out onto the spacious raised deck, taking in the stunning views as you sip a coffee or a sundowner, or dine alfresco. You’re also welcome to use the shared lawn, reached via a few steps down, and the picnic space by the carp lake, 50 metres away. Private parking for two cars is also available.

The cottage is located on a working farm, where you may see sheep and horses grazing in the meadows. Explore local walks and footpaths, perhaps to either Rawridge or Upottery, both 2 miles away, or head into Honiton (5.5 miles), a market town renowned for its history of lace-making and its selection of high-quality antiques shops.
