Get the whole gang together at this luxurious stone-built lodge sitting in an impressive complex of properties in Dartmoor National Park. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, this is a perfect accommodation option for small families or groups of friends who are seeking a glamorous break in Devon together. During the day, stroll through the Moretonhampsteads town centre and admire the well-preserved architecture, which includes buildings dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. In the evening, come home and unleash your competitive spirit during a friendly game night at the lodge’s generous lounge.

Ascend the flight of external stairs to enter this delightful lodge, step inside and you''ll discover a bright and airy open-plan kitchen/dining area. Take the staircase from the kitchen and you’ll find the inviting lounge area that boasts an open stone fireplace. Take a moment to soak up the elegant ambience before heading back to the farmhouse-style kitchen to whip up some dinner. Enjoy a cosy meal at the dining table, or head out onto the pretty decked balcony, fire up a BBQ (charges apply) and dine alfresco. Afterwards, head back to the lounge area, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and warm your feet in front of the glowing flame-effect fire. When it’s time for bed, you''ll find an opulent king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath on the first tier. Another staircase from the lounge takes you to a roomy king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, featuring a shower over the bath. On the lowest level, the final bedroom awaits, offering a zip and link super-king bed, an en-suite shower room, and double doors that lead to a sheltered decked area – the perfect place for a cup of coffee when you wake up in the morning. Afterwards, make the most of the estate’s shared facilities and enjoy a dip in the swimming pool, a sauna, a workout in the gym or a game of tennis.

Spend a delightful day at Miniature Pony Centre (1.5 miles), where you can meet and interact with adorable miniature ponies and donkeys. Alternatively, enjoy a peaceful day at Fernworthy Reservoir (6 miles). Take a stroll around the reservoir and keep your eyes peeled for sandpipers, great black-backed gulls and crossbills. Further afield the coastal towns of Teignmouth (20miles) and Torquay (24miles) provide beaches and water-sports, and the city of Plymouth with its National Marine Aquarium (a fantastic attraction for adults and children alike) and the historic Barbican area with the Mayflower steps where the Pilgrim Fathers are believed to have left England on board the Mayflower ship in 1620 to cross the Atlantic and settle in America.
