Self-catering holiday homes in Branscombe

Branscombe, situated on the Jurassic Coast and in the East Devon AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) is a holiday location like no other. Our holiday cottages in Branscombe put you in the perfect location from which to explore this Devonshire village’s amazing coastline, historic buildings and quaint countryside life. Thatched roofs famously decorate the Branscombe skyline and many of our cottages to rent in Branscombe and the surrounding area are of the same design, so you can experience the local architecture of the area, as well as a comfortable resting place. Across Branscombe, we also have a number of dog-friendly and luxury holiday cottages, which hopefully offer something for a variety of wants and needs.

A trip to Branscombe not only puts you in prime location to visit a number of coastal spots in Devon and Dorset, but there is also plenty to keep you entertained in the village itself. Branscombe beach is the village’s most popular attraction. offering a shingle bay. As part of the Jurassic Coast, this fascinating beach offers hours of fun exploring its rockpools and collecting shells, ancient rocks and stones. Dogs are also welcome on the grassy areas of the beach, although during summer there is a dog ban in some sections.

Our Branscombe accommodation is also in a great spot for a walking holiday, as Branscombe is right on the South West Coast Path and the village’s fascinating historic buildings also make for an interesting walk. The clifftop walk to Beer beach, just one mile eastward, rewards walkers with some of the best views of the Jurassic coast, while Seaton Hole is just a little farther down the path at 4 miles away. Within Branscombe itself, visitors may want to embark on the local National Trust History Trail.

Browse through our cottages in the area today and get ready for your Branscombe holiday. We have a variety of self-catering holiday homes in and around Branscombe, as well as further afield across our ranges of Jurassic Coast cottages, East Devon cottages and Devon holiday cottages.
